Review by Bob McHugh
They have really got Quad down now. The performance and technical aspects have tightned up considerably since Florida and they are stretching out more on a few songs, especially Drowned and Love Reign O'er Me. Roger's voice is still incredibly strong. Most of those in attendance agreed that the second night was better, but both nights were awesome. Greatest hits portion was definitely better the second night. Pete was very animated and funny both nights and there was quite a bit of stage banter after the Quad portion. Crowds both night were loud and appreciative and I do believe that Pete really does love Chicago. Simon's show was a hoot as well.
I was in possession of front row tickets for both nights, but on Thursday I had time to kill outside, so I scoped out the street ticket scene and it was totally a buyer's market. One of the scalpers was starting at $70 each for a pair of 5th row floor tickets, which was half the face value. I saw a civilian dump 2 really good side seats for $30 each and there were seats available in the first 10 rows at the window.
