Review by Adriano C C Cunha

Hot spring night in Sao Paulo.

Allianz park awaiting a unique event, expected over 50 years. The Who in Brazil.

Promptly at 9:30, they started with "I Can't Explain" delivering a heavy and furious sound, to the delight of about 30,000 fans.

Without even welcoming the audience, they played a powerful performance of "The Seeker." Then Pete, visibly moved, greeted the public, Brazil, and South America!

I've watched a lot of The Who's shows since 2004 until today. Surely this was one of his most vigorous exhibitions, perhaps motivated by being the first exhibition on our continent.

The show continued almost without intervals, full of hits, so no fan complained.

Who's next and Quadrophenia were the albums that most ceded songs to the show. Roger interacted little with the audience. The still "Young" Pete abused himself doing windmills and even tried a knee slide on “Won't Get Fooled Again”.

In the end, after the encore, as the audience insisted on not leaving , Pete shouted "Go home , Go home!!” Yes, it was over, but it was a dream come true for the fans who saw their idols in their country for the first time.
